Noble HouseReport

English:Noble House · Locations

The palace-like residence found in United Cities and Slave Trader towns, home to a noble and his guards. Guards stand at the door, the richest contents in town sit inside, and getting caught stealing in one brings a Noble's Wrath down on your outpost.

A Noble House is the palace-like residence found in United Cities and Slave Trader towns. Inside lives a noble of the Noble Circle with his guards, and there are usually more of them standing outside the doors.

The richest building in town

Nobles lead their lives of luxury in there, and what that life leaves behind — 60 to 100 items of stock — is sitting in the rooms. A lucky thief can clear a lot in one visit.

ImportantGetting caught stealing inside a Noble House does not cost you a fine, it costs you a Noble's Wrath — and it lands on your outpost. This is not the kind of trouble that ends in a cell; it is the United Cities coming to your door. Steal if you like, but do not be seen.

A Noble House is closed to the public day and night, so being inside at all is already trespass.

TipThe bottom half of that table is worth a second look. Slave Trader holdings use the same building — only the occupant changes to a slave master, with Samurai Heavies added to the guard. Architecturally, the slave business and the noble life are the same thing.
