The Iron Hat is a Medium Armour that is equipped in the Headgear slot. It is sold at United Cities and Swamp armour shops.
It is the headgear of choice of Black Dragon Genins. It can also be randomly worn by Anti-Slaver Jonins, Bounty Hunters, Drifters, Samurai Scouts, Strayed Paladins, Tech Hunters, Tech Hunter Gate Guards, Tech Hunter Guards, and Tech Hunter Ruins.
It can be crafted in the Heavy Armour Smithy after researching the blueprint.
This armour has inventory dimensions of 3x3.
The Iron Hat is similar in design to the straw hat, except it is made with armour plating. A wicker head cap rests on top of the character's head and then an iron plate covers the top of the head and individual armour plates are fastened together to create the brim of the hat. In real life, this design was used in Japan and was called jingasa (陣笠, "war hat"). While the item icon appears to be black, the actual hat is of a silver-like white tone.
