The rank and file of the Black Dragon Ninjas. When they ransack your outpost they steal food before they attack anyone — a quirk that is both an annoyance and an exploitable opening.

Black Dragon Genin are the standard members of the Black Dragon Ninjas. Their title, "Genin", translates as "low ninja" or "junior ninja".
Where they are
They live in the Tower of Ninjas alongside Buzan and Dimak; the tower holds at least ten of them.
They also have a very rare chance of spawning as patrols in Stobe's Garden.
If a player outpost sits within 4,500 metres of the Tower of Ninjas and Dimak is alive, Genin will arrive to ransack it. That is the main way players meet them — the Black Dragon Ninjas run protection rackets, and outposts that do not pay get pillaged.
Food first
This is their most distinctive behaviour:
They will prioritise stealing food above all else, before attacking the player's characters.
In practice this creates an irritating situation: after the fight you have to loot your own food back off each slain Genin individually.

How to kill them
A Genin's combat stats are only 25 (randomised by 5), but the fight is really decided by something else:
Black Dragon Ninjas lack bandages.
So dealing a modest amount of cut damage — over 20 — leads to death by wound degeneration, because their Toughness cannot carry it. The wiki adds that for anyone nervous about melee, a single crossbow shot to a limb or vital does the same job.
A piece of trivia
The Black Dragon Ninjas originally had a rival faction, the White Eyebrow Clan, which was cut from the game. The two schools were likely designed as warring rivals.
