Dimak is one of the two leaders of the Black Dragon Ninjas, the other being Buzan. She is a female Shek, and the only Shek in the entire gang — every other member is a human ninja.

Location

She stays in the Tower of Ninjas, in the north-eastern Border Zone. The tower only appears on the map once you have read a Tech Hunter map. The instant you step inside, the whole of the Black Dragon Ninjas turns hostile; that said, they will just as happily attack wild groups such as the Dust Bandits, so luring a hostile squad into the tower and letting the two sides maul each other is a perfectly viable way to save effort. The tower's layout is almost identical to the Shinobi Thieves' tower, with four crossbow turrets on the roof manned by Black Dragon Genin.

She and Buzan are worth 20,000 Cats apiece, both issued by the Holy Nation. Measured against the flow of the game, this pair is one of the few opening-stage targets that a player can both actually beat and actually be paid for.

For a leader-class character she is not especially tough; the real trouble is the tower full of Black Dragon Genin and the firepower of the rooftop turrets. She wears Ninja Rags, Drifter's leather pants and wooden sandals, and her armour is Standard grade ninety-five per cent of the time.

That blade

The Ninja Blade in Dimak's hands is Meitou grade, with its manufacturer listed as Cross, and it is a guaranteed drop.

TipThe Ninja Blade is in fact the katana-class weapon with the lowest cutting damage — even an Edge Type 3 katana hits harder than a Cross-grade Ninja Blade. Its advantages are light weight, speed and +10% damage against humans; its drawbacks are −20% armour penetration and −40% against robots. So the real value of this Meitou is usually "sell it for money" or keep it as a collector's piece, rather than field it as a main weapon.

There is only one Meitou-grade Ninja Blade in the entire game, and it is in her hand.

World states

NoteKill or imprison Dimak and the Black Dragon Ninja bandit raid event will never trigger again. For a player building a base around the Border Zone who has had enough of being harassed over and over, dealing with her is the once-and-for-all solution.

Origin of the name

Her name comes from "Dim Mak", the legendary "death touch" of Chinese martial arts. The two characters literally mean "pressing the artery", and refer to a family of acupuncture- and pressure-point-style striking techniques.
