South Stone CampReport
English:South Stone Camp · Locations
The stone-quarrying labour camp of the Heng region, run by the Slave Traders, with Slave Master Ruben living in the Noble House inside. It feeds stone to Heng, Trader's Edge and Heft, and it is the northern camp most worth dismantling first.
South Stone Camp is a slave camp in the Heng region, controlled by the Slave Traders. Everything here runs on slavery — slaves work the stone mines inside and around the walls, and the processed stone goes out to build the canyon.
Where it sits in the chain
The Heng region is the empire's wallet and its people market. South Stone Camp is the top of that supply chain: it feeds Heng, Trader's Edge and Heft, and ostensibly some of the southern Samurai Army as well.
There is also a second, shorter-named Stone Camp, run by Slave Master Haga out in the Great Desert. They are different places — do not confuse them.
Who lives here
The camp boss is Slave Master 'Sly' Ruben, a noble of the Traders Guild who lives in the camp's Noble House. Like the other Traders Guild nobles he is guarded by 4 Hooded Empire Noble Guards and 4 Samurai Heavy characters; he wears [Specialist] armour (10% chance of [Masterwork]) and carries weapons by Catun Scrapmaster or Skeleton Smiths. He has a Traitorous Personality.
The garrison breaks down roughly like this:
| Squad | Count |
|---|---|
| Noble Stone Boss (Ruben) | 1 |
| Slaver Barracks | 1 |
| Stone Camp Shop | 1 |
| Work Camp Gate Guard | 3 |
| Slaver Shop | 3 |
| Small Generator Shack | 1 |
| Slave Cage Shack | 3 |
What is here
The camp is an industrial site, not a town. Its buildings include a Noble House, an L-House, a Slaver Bar, two Slave Shops, two Small Shacks (cages and a small power station), two Lookout Towers, two Ore Processors, three Stone Processors (IV and V), two Iron Refineries III, two Ore Drills (II and III), three Hybrid Stone Mines, multiple Quarry Mines and a Wind Generator.
Why you would come
South Stone Camp matters on two levels.
The first is trade. The Slave Shops here buy and sell slaves — you can buy a person (which amounts to buying their freedom), and you can sell knocked-out bandits for cash.
The second is the real point: this is the third most influential of the six labour camps in the northern United Cities. Destroying it is one of the requirements for southern rogue Samurai to spawn, it goes hand in hand with reduced Slave Trader and Manhunter activity and a stronger Anti-Slaver presence in Heng, and it can leave Heft malnourished.
