A labour camp in Heng where more than ten XL cactus farms are worked entirely by slaves. Heft and Stoat eat because of this place. Take down Slave Mistress Ren and the whole camp collapses into ruins — and both cities upstream start going hungry.
The Slave Farm is a town in Heng controlled by the Slave Traders. It is built entirely on slavery: the slaves here work more than ten XL Cactus Farms, and the output runs north to Heft and Stoat, plus part of the Samurai Army out in the desert.
In other words, this is not a settlement. It is a production line.
Who lives here
The place is run by Slave Mistress Ren, who lives in the Noble House. She is a Traders Guild noble carrying a Meitou Wakizashi, permanently escorted by four Empire Noble Guard Hooded and four Samurai Heavy. She has a 90% chance of carrying money, somewhere between 1,000 Cats and 5,000 Cats.

What happens if you destroy it
The Slave Farm has one world state: if Slave Mistress Ren is killed or imprisoned, the entire Slave Farm falls to ruins.
The knock-on effects are substantial. Among the six labour camps of the northern United Cities, the Slave Farm ranks second in importance, and its destruction is one of the conditions required for malnourished rogues to spawn — tied together with reduced Slave Trader and Manhunter presence and an increased presence of the Anti-Slavers in Heng.
On top of that:
- Destroying it can cause malnourishment in Heft.
- Destroying it is required for malnourishment in Stoat.

Walking near it marks it automatically, as does reading the Map of the United Cities (Extended Territories), which reveals the Slave Farm with 100% chance.
The other slave farm
There is a second one, Slave Farm South, in The Hook, run by Slave Mistress Grace. The names are similar and the mechanics rhyme, but they sit in different regions and drive different world-state chains. Do not treat them as one target.
