Wheatstraw is one of the few crops that can be grown in arid environments. Its a sturdy crop, and can be used to make horrible flat bread or rum that makes you go blind.
Wheatstraw is an inedible raw ingredient used to produce Strawflour in a Grain Silo or Grog with a Grog Distillery. Players can grow wheat at a Wheat Farm and store it in Storage: Wheatstraw after researching Wheatstraw Farming. It can be turned into fuel at a Biofuel Distillery and into flour at a Grain Silo.
It can be purchased from Trade Goods Traders or Holy Farm Leaders in various settlements.
The "rum that makes you go blind" in its description refers to Grog, not Cactus Rum.
