Hundred GuardianReport
English:Hundred Guardian · Characters
The Shek Kingdom's elite, said to be its hundred best fighters — they hold Admag and Squin, and once you are allied they are the only bodyguards available in Shek territory.
Glory doesn't come to us. We rip it from our enemies with our own hands. Courage. — a Hundred Guardian
Hundred Guardians are the elite of the Shek Kingdom. The name is the definition: they are the hundred best fighters in the kingdom — with the top five most likely counted among The Five Invincibles instead, leaving the remaining ninety-odd seats to them.
Where you run into them
They garrison the capital Admag and the city Squin, where they double as the police force.
In the field they appear as patrol leaders. A standard patrol is 1 to 2 Hundred Guardians leading 4 to 8 Shek Warriors, and it is the armed unit a player meets most often in Shek territory.
They are neutral but contemptuous toward humans, calling them "flatskins" like most of the kingdom. They will never roll the Maniacal or Fearful personality.

Once allied, you can take one home
After allying with the Shek Kingdom, talk to a wandering Hundred Guardian patrol and they will work for you:
| Service | Duration |
|---|---|
| Bodyguard | 72 hours |
| Guard your outpost | 48 hours |
Honor. I live to fight for my allies. Just show me who I need to fight...
Note that Hundred Guardians on duty inside towns will not follow you — they refuse and redirect you to the patrols outside the walls.
Two very human details:
- If your squad is downed when the contract expires, they stay an extra 6 hours. ("My kingdom needs me, Battle Born. I must return to the Stone Golem... Hm. Out cold? Hm hm hm.")
- If they see you starving, they throw you a single piece of Dried Meat. ("Skin and bones, kin... Catch.")
In nominal Shek holdings such as the Spider Plains, the Hundred Guardian is the only source of bodyguards a player can get.
They come for you too
Flip the relation and this is the force that shows up at your gate:
- If the player allies with the Holy Nation, Hundred Guardian patrols will attack unprovoked — unless the player is allied with the Shek Kingdom as well.
- They lead medium-importance assaults on player outposts, including the Enemy Hunt and Shek Revenge events.
After Esata falls
One key World State: once Esata has been killed or imprisoned even once, some Shek swear allegiance to Flying Bull, and Hundred Guardians begin spawning as members of Kral's Chosen.
Same people, same heavy plate, different banner. For the player that means the hireable bodyguards of Shek territory gradually turn into a zealot faction that wants you dead.
How many soldiers a hundred people can lead
The wiki works out an interesting piece of arithmetic. Ignoring the ones standing guard in towns and counting only default field squads, a hundred Hundred Guardians are leading roughly 400 Shek Warriors at once — squads average 1.5 Guardians and about 6 Warriors, so 100 ÷ 1.5 ≈ 67 squads, and 67 × 6 ≈ 402.
Using the "Seto Revenge Squad" composition instead (3.5 Guardians to 4.5 Warriors on average), the figure drops to about 128.
Either number leads to the same conclusion: the Shek Kingdom's field army rests on these hundred people.
