The Catun Scrapmaster is a United Cities shopkeeper who mans the Catun Scrapmasters Weapon Shop in Catun.
What she is like
She is relatively old and likes to boss her smiths around. She is hard of hearing — which is why those same smiths insult her behind her back to her face, calling her things like "hag" and "old dustbag". She does not hear it.
She holds a very strong position on the quality of her house's arms, strong enough to claim that Skeleton Smiths blades are no worthy foe for a Catun weapon — even though Catun is in fact the inferior quality of the two. She also disparages the Truth Two manufacturer.
Her personality tag is Brave.

Her shop
Catun Scrapmasters is a unique weapon shop in Catun, controlled by the United Cities. It is the brand's home, and it exclusively sells weapons of its own make.
Maximum stock 100 items, 24 hour restock, open in the day only. Besides her, four Citizens live there.
Common stock includes the Heavy Jitte, Holed Sabre, Horse Chopper, Jitte, Katana, Longsword, Naginata, Naginata Katana, Nodachi, Ringed Sabre and Topper; less often the Desert Sabre, Guardless Katana, Mercenary Club, Ninja Blade, Plank, Staff and Wakizashi; the Foreign Sabre is rare. She sells the blueprints for the whole range as well.
Is the stock any good
Be precise about what she is selling: a brand. Catun Scrapmaster is a mid-grade manufacturer whose quality is above average, as is its price and weight.

In short: a Catun weapon deals 20% more blunt damage and costs and weighs 20% more. The weight eats into Strength, and weapons that deal mostly cutting damage barely benefit from the bonus at all.
The brand is common in the world — United Cities officers, Hundred Guardians and other stronger enemies carry it. The Holy Nation is the only one of the three major factions that does not employ it at any scale.
