DregReport
English:Dreg · Locations
Scrub waste. Western Hive. Main settlements: Hive Village, Gatherer Village, Settled Nomad Village.
A stretch of dead scrub outside the Holy Nation’s border, where Hivers keep shops, Nomads graze goats, and the last few fishing families of Deadcat live with the village gate locked. The iron underfoot is ancient megastructure rusted through, and the survey report gives this soil a single word: dead.

|---|---|---|---|
| Cornelius | Recruitable | Settled Nomad Village · the Nomad Animal Trader | The only unique goat recruit in the game. His base stats are a little above an ordinary goat’s, but he takes nearly twice as long to grow up. The animal trader asks 15,000; find his real keeper, the Goat Man, at the hideout house nearby and you get a half-price token. (Another source records 14,000 and says the haggle changes nothing you actually pay; take the character page’s figure as authoritative.) |
| Suspicious Settler | Merchant | The eastern Gatherer Village (west of Mongrel) | A unique survivor of the Deadcat faction, his village already picked over by bandits; agree to protect him and he will sell you fish. Robbing him costs 3 and hitting him 5 United Cities relations, his two pets will jump you, and the fishermen nearby will carry him off shouting “surrender!” |
| Beloved Goat | Neutral | The eastern Gatherer Village | One of the Suspicious Settler’s unique pets; joins the fight when his owner is attacked. |
| Settler's Pup | Neutral | The Gatherer Village | The Suspicious Settler’s other unique pet, and just as ready to weigh in for his owner. |
| Hive Trader | Merchant | The three Hive Villages in the Dreg | The traders in the Hive Villages are all Prince-caste — they do not sleep and they can fight. The critical trap: with any Hiver in your squad (they are read as Hiveless), every trader in the village refuses to deal with you, so take humans, Shek or Skeletons along to do the buying. |
| Scrawny Cannibal | Hostile squad | Spawning and drifting through the wilds across the whole region; Cannibal camps also appear at random within the region | A small band that has drifted too far from the territory of the Cannibals, but "small" is measured against the homeland of the Cannibals — what actually hits you is a large crowd of green-painted skinny figures charging in at once. They attack everyone, Skeletons included (they just do not eat them). Anyone knocked out and carried off is taken back to a nearby camp of the Cannibals and tied to a prisoner pole; when the cages are full, prisoners are beaten to death one at a time and thrown into the cooking pit, so a downed teammate has to be rescued immediately — leave it too late and there is nothing left to save. |
| Fogman | Hostile squad | Roaming spawn across the region's wilds (stray small groups spilling over from the Fog Islands to the northeast) | Deformed Hive worker drones that drift about in packs and go for anyone they see. A single one is laughably weak; the problem was never whether you can win the fight — they drag unconscious characters away whole, and by the time you come to your senses a squadmate is already gone. When there are only a few of them you can take them head-on, but do not let a character who is on their own get surrounded. |
| Hungry Bandit Leader | Hostile squad | Spawns roaming in the wilderness across the region, bringing a whole squad of Starving Bandits | One of the most common road bandits in Dreg, outnumbering the Holy Nation Outlaws of the same region. Their leader walks up first and calls out a demand for food, and at that point a small sum of money is usually enough to send them away, so you do not actually have to fight. If it does come to a fight, they are many and poorly equipped, and when they go through your things they take only food and leave weapons and armour alone. But "food" includes the raw meat carried by pack animals and pets, and having it stripped away amounts to killing them on the spot, so do not just stand and watch when you take livestock through. |
| Hive Bandit | Hostile squad | Roaming spawns in the wild across the whole zone — but they appear only after the Hive Queen has been killed or carried off | Conditionally hostile: they exist only after the Western Hive's Queen has been killed or captured. Once the Queen falls, the Hive Village in Dreg is taken over by Fogmen, and at the same time these bandits of Hive origin start appearing out in the wilderness — one leader with four to eight others, who charge in doing nothing but repeating "Erase". They fight better than the other bandits on the road; their weapons are a mix of Horse Choppers, Polearms and Ninja Blades, and they wear ragged armour such as Armoured Rags. Under the same world state, scattered 迷失的蜂巢族 also appear in the wild, but those are sluggish and only occasionally attack, and are far less of a threat than these. |
| Fog Prince | Hostile boss | Fogman Deathyard — a Fogmen camp that only spawns at random in Dreg after The Queen has come to harm | Conditionally hostile: once the Hive Queen is killed or captured, 霧之死庭 start to grow in Dreg — Fogmen camps studded with torch poles, bone decorations and prisoner poles. The Prince is always guarded by a ring of heavy Fogmen and worker drones. Anyone knocked out near a camp is carried off to a prisoner pole, worshipped and eaten at the same time, and the Prince is especially fond of coming over to eat the prisoners. The upside is that once it goes down you can take its head straight off it and cash the bounty at any shop, without hauling the whole body back to town. |
| Strayed Paladin | Hostile squad | Roaming spawn across the region's wilds — appears only after Phoenix, Seta and Valtena have all gone down | Conditionally hostile: only after Holy Lord Phoenix and the two 高級審判官 are all dead or imprisoned do these stray 聖騎士 start wandering the wilds, in groups of four to ten at a time. They do not rob passers-by, so Human characters are usually left alone; they still fly the flag of The Holy Nation, and The Holy Nation treats non-humans as unwelcome — though the wiki also notes that The Holy Nation does not much care about non-humans outside its own territory, and Dreg happens to lie outside that territory. Do not be fooled by the rags: they are not starving, their skills are exactly on par with regular 聖騎士, and only their equipment has been swapped for scavenged rags and mismatched armour. |
History
- The moment the Western Hive Queen dies, Dreg’s Hive Villages are overrun by Fogmen within a very short time, and the surviving Hivers scatter into bandits and Hiveless.
- The colossal iron structures the First Empire left behind are still stuck in the ground, rusting — the only decent iron on this dead soil.
- After the Cannibals took the capital of Deadcat to the north, the surviving fishermen fled down here and shut their village off from the world behind a makeshift gate.
