Yabuta OutlawReport
English:Yabuta Outlaw · Characters
Bandits who only exist once Yabuta of the Sands has been let out of Tengu's Vault. They patrol the north-east of United Cities territory and as far south as The Hook — and Yabuta himself is never among them.
This is our desert now... The weak aren't welcome.
Yabuta Outlaws are the rank and file of the Yabuta Outlaws faction. That faction does not exist from the start of the game — it is created only after Yabuta of the Sands is released from Tengu's Vault.
Where they are
- The north-eastern territories of the United Cities
- The Hook — worth noting, since Yabuta's own ground is in the north while his men patrol as far south as this
- Fort Yabuta — originally Fort Simion, and their hideout
Under certain world states their patrol range widens to include Bast, the Grey Desert, Heng, Sinkuun, Skimsands and The Great Desert, and Stoat may also fall into their hands.
A rather funny gap in the setting
Are they worth fighting
A 20% chance of a bounty of 1,500 to 2,500 Cats. Armour is Shoddy 95% of the time and the weapon manufacturer is Unknown — as equipment goes they are ordinary bandits, just dressed from a wider grab bag.
Diplomatically the faction defaults to −100 towards everyone, and is hostile to the player no matter what.
Combat statistics
Strength, Toughness, Dexterity, all six weapon skills and melee attack and defence all land in the 29–41 band, with Assassination at 17.5 and figures randomising by ±6.
