English:Sinkuun · Locations

Arid peninsula. No man's land. Main settlements: Fort Simion, The Bastion, Distant Hive Village.

🗺 See this place on the map ↗

Everyone the Empire squeezed out ends up rolling onto this peninsula: farmers behind on their tax, wanted drifters, two hive villages that moved north out of Vain. Even the Cannibals are held outside the door — not because there is order here, but because the Cannibal Hunters got here first.

NameTypeWhereNotes
Boss SimionHostile bossFort Simion, faction HQ (the swamp dome house)Head of the Rebel Farmers, screened by 8 Outlaw Swordsman Captains. He is also the only way into the faction — turn up hostile to the United Cities, or having killed a noble, or malnourished, or missing a limb, and he will talk.
Cannibal Hunter RobunNeutralThe Bastion, the bug house (faction HQ)Head of the Cannibal Hunters, and the younger brother of the author of the Captive's Journal Series. He can be hired, but his people only fight Cannibals — and they will patch up injured strangers along the way.
Outlaw Swordsman CaptainHostileFort Simion (8 of them around Simion) and Rebel Farmer patrols right across the Sinkuun peninsulaRandomly named captain-tier units that are guaranteed to carry a bounty — the 8 inside Fort Simion alone are worth twenty-odd thousand Cats, the steadiest early bounty field there is. Bring enough first aid kits for the prisoners.
