The heart of the Southern Hive: a valley that is unnaturally green, the Hive Queen's throne, and an ancient crushing machine kept and fed like a sovereign. People knocked out here do not get robbed. They get tied to a post.

Notable units
| Name | Type | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Queen of the South | Hostile boss | The Southern Hive (the hive throne at the southern end of the Royal Valley) | Leader of the Southern Hive, carrying a Meitou-grade polearm and holding diplomatic status. The bounty is 0 Cats; the real prize is her weapon and the collapse of the whole faction — kill or capture her and every Southern Hive site turns into Deadhive ruins. |
| King | Hostile boss | Wanders the Royal Valley (if you cannot find him, tie a prisoner to the stake north-east of the hive to draw him in) | The only "Crimper"-type ancient machine in the game, and the true core of the Southern Hive's faith. Spawned in the Royal Valley he carries an age multiplier of 2.40–2.50, effective skills over 100 and Strength 120 — one character alone has essentially no chance head-on. |
| Elite Droneguard | Hostile | Around the Hive Queen's throne in the Southern Hive | The Hive Queen's own guard: 10–13 of them stand by the throne at all times, armed with Toppers. Anyone who wants the Queen has to clear the whole ring first. |
| Prince | Hostile boss | Patrols across the valley, the Hiver-Claimed Armoury, the Southern Hive Village | The patrol commander, leading 8 Droneguards, and the heaviest patrol weight in the zone (90% of wilderness spawns here are Southern Hive). He also leads the raids on player bases. |
| Droneguard | Hostile | The Southern Hive, the Southern Hive Village and patrols throughout the valley | The bulk of the Southern soldier drones. They make up 90% of the zone's spawn table, from four-strong scouting parties to eight-strong patrols, everywhere you look. |
| War Gorillo | Hostile | Around the Hive Queen's main hive, and with the raiding forces | A Gorillo "domesticated" by the Southern Hive, Melee Attack 80. Kidnap the Hive Queen and it comes for the player's base alongside King and the Princes. |
| Fog Prince | Hostile boss | Deadhive ruins (what the Southern Hive and its village turn into once the Hive Queen dies) | World-state only: once the Queen of the South is dead or imprisoned, the Southern Hive proper and its village both turn into Deadhive ruins and start spawning Fog Princes. The head sells straight to a shop for six thousand, with no prisoner to haul anywhere. |
History
- Through a thousand years of war on the continent, almost nobody has laid a hand on the Southern Hive — their extreme isolation does work.
- From somewhere they acquired a Second Empire crushing machine, enthroned it as "King", and began feeding it living people.
- The moment the Hive Queen is killed or carried off, the Royal Valley and its capital together become Deadhive ruins — and "King" himself does not react at all.
