The Iron TrailReport
English:The Iron Trail · Locations
Glass plains. No man's land.
A long narrow corridor running from the Cannibal Plains to the western sea, its surface one unbroken sheet of blue glass. Iron Spiders stand along it in rows — the production line stopped a thousand years ago, and nobody ever came to tell them their shift was over.

Notable units
| Name | Type | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Iron Spider | Hostile wildlife | The whole of the blue glass corridor, running all the way to the small island at its end | This zone takes its name from them. The trouble is not how strong any single one is, but the large number of shut-down units of the same type scattered along the way — you cannot tell which one is scrap and which one is only sleeping, until it stands up. What they are fitted with is crippling machinery, and Light Armour characters who go down often are not eaten but bleed out on their own; once down, with no one to pick them up, they are gone. They are everywhere along the whole corridor, and it is hard to pick a route that avoids them completely. |
| Security Spider | Hostile wildlife | Ancient Tech Lab | The guards inside the lab, a step tougher than the Iron Spiders wandering outside, and they stay in groups in cramped interiors and do not leave once the fight is over. A single swing can catch two people standing too close, so the squad has to spread out. That lab is the most reliable source of AI Cores in the whole game, and these are the price of admission. |
| Broken Skeleton | Hostile squad | Ancient Tech Lab | A malfunctioning Skeleton that guards the lab alongside the Security Spiders, carrying an ancient-made Fragment Axe on its back. It still carries its own repair kit, yet it is executing old orders that no one has issued for a long time. |
History
- The ancient civilisation's machine guards are still scattered along this corridor on standby, a thousand years after the people who gave the order disappeared.
