English:Lord Mirage · Characters
Leader of the United Heroes League, sitting in Fort Mirage surrounded by almost ten City Heroes. Even the game cannot say whether he is a minor noble or a thug who gave himself the title "Lord".
Lord Mirage is the leader of the United Heroes League. He can be found at Fort Mirage, a minor outpost in The Great Desert, surrounded by City Heroes.
Is he actually a lord?
The wiki handles the title in a telling way: it admits it does not know.
Given their title, it is unknown if they are a minor UC noble who has started their own militia force, or simply a common thug who has taken up the mantle of "Lord".
That open question is the best possible footnote to the United Heroes League. The faction is a pack of self-proclaimed "city heroes", all Greenlanders, hostile vigilantes operating in United Cities territory, opposed to foreigners and non-human races — though not to foreign humans. They accuse other races of rape, stealing jobs, taking slaves, harassing and assaulting women, and wrecking farms, technology and businesses.
In other words: an organisation that manufactures its own standing by shouting, led by a man who cannot establish whether he is a noble.
Fort Mirage
Fort Mirage is the minor outpost Lord Mirage owns, home to almost ten City Heroes.
Three things to know before entering:
- City Heroes attack on entry.
- Fighting them turns the whole United Heroes League hostile.
- There are manned Mounted Crossbow turrets on the roof. If you are already hostile to City Heroes, think before approaching.
And the wiki is blunt about the payoff: there is no valuable loot at this location.
Can you take him
Lord Mirage has strength 50 and combat stats of only 25 (randomised by 3), in Shoddy grade gear (40% upgrade chance), carrying an Unknown-manufacturer Nodachi over Mercenary Leather Armour. He is not a hard fight.
His City Heroes are weaker still: strength 30, combat stats 10. A League squad is 1 Hero Boss with an Unknown-quality Nodachi plus a few City Heroes — and that Nodachi and their armour can be sold in any town for easy early cash without getting into trouble.
There is also a useful quirk: the faction's NPC class is set to bandit, which means if you attack them inside a town, the guards come to your defence.
