Rice Bowl is a food item which can be purchased from relevant traders or created in a Cooking Stove. This food is easiest to find in The Swamp, where Riceweed is abundant.

Riceweed is the single most water-hungry crop in the game, with Hydroponics making it only slightly less bad. This doesn't matter so long as the crops are grown outdoors in rainy environments, but a whole barrel of Water for a meager 25Nu makes Rice Bowls an absolute water-guzzling monster of food.

It is recommended to not eat Rice outright but to instead farm Greenfruit as well to make Gohan instead, which if grown in rainy environments, uses no Water at all.

Initially, this item had an identical icon to Gohan. That icon was a top view of a closed lid on the container used to hold food.
