Gorillo BanditReport
English:Gorillo Bandit · Characters
Hunchbacked, unnaturally thick-armed brawlers who roam the Bonefields and Flats Lagoon in packs of four to nine. Every one of them is a Martial Artist — which makes them weak to ranged fire and impossible to disarm.
Gorillo Bandits are members of The Gorrillo Bandits. The easiest way to spot one is the build: unnaturally bulky arms and a hunchbacked posture, from a body model made specifically for them.
A pack with no weapons
Unlike their leader, Gorillo Bandits carry no weapons at all, and very little armour: a Gi in the body slot, with only light gear in the shirt and trouser slots. Every member of the faction except the leader is a Martial Artist.
That gives them a very clear trade-off:
- Weak to ranged attacks. With almost no armour there is almost no damage reduction, so crossbows and turrets work unusually well.
- Impossible to disarm. They had nothing to take in the first place, so knocking one down yields no weapon, and they wake up no worse off.
Statistically their Strength runs to 57–63 (randomised by 3), while everything else — attack, defence, weapon skills — sits at 27–33. They hit hard, but they are not skilled.
Where they roam
Their patrols spawn across the Bonefields and Flats Lagoon, in packs of four to nine, harassing settlements and travellers. Their base is The Old Prison in the southeastern corner of the Bonefields, almost directly south of Mourn.
They can spawn as Greenlanders, Scorchlanders or Shek — though because of their custom body, the Scorchlander version uses a Greenlander skin.
Worth fighting?
There is a 3% chance that a Gorillo Bandit spawns carrying a 5,000 Cats bounty, redeemable with both the United Cities and the Shek Kingdom. For an unequipped mook that is a large number — around here they are often the only enemy worth money at all.
But it has an expiry date: once Gorrillo is dead, Gorillo Bandit patrols stop spawning in the region. If you plan to farm them for bounties, do not rush to the Old Prison.
