The Bughouse is a medium-sized building shell the player can construct. The game describes it in a single line, "a large rounded building, often used as a barracks".
It unlocks with the Medium Building Shells research. It costs 35 Building Materials and takes about 6 hours to raise. Once built it has a building condition of 35, a door condition of 16 and a door lock of level 15.
Two levels of space
Buildings can be placed on the interior of a Bughouse and on its roof as well. That is why it often ends up as the backbone of a base, with people or workstations below and turrets above.
The one at Trader's Edge
The building for sale at Trader's Edge is a Bughouse, priced at 28,000 Cats. Check World States before you buy property there. The town carries town overrides, and a house you bought can vanish outright when one fires.
