Adventurer BarReport

English:Adventurer Bar · Locations

The Tech Hunter version of a bar. Behind the counter, alongside the drink, sit backpacks, sleeping bags, camp blueprints and six maps — the things a squad runs out of on a long march.

The Adventurer Bar is the bar found in Tech Hunter settlements. Its shelves are not those of an imperial bar or a swamp bar: the extra space goes to expedition kit — backpacks, sleeping bags, tools, maps, and skeleton parts.

The Tech Hunters are a small organisation that lives off digging through ancient ruins, and supplies and advises newcomers on the side. This bar is that role put on the map.

NoteThe Chinese tree also renders this shop as 「冒險者酒吧」 on the Spring page. Same shop.

The bar never closes, so you can buy day or night. Maximum stock is 100 items and it restocks every 24 hours.

What is on the shelves

The average prices and chances below come from the wiki's vendor data. What actually spawns differs every playthrough, and the price you pay depends on your Trading skill and your standing with the faction.

Advanced Splint Kit311 CatsCommon

That skeleton repair line is the most practical reason to walk in. When a Skeleton character breaks down in the field an ordinary bar is no help at all, and the number of places on the continent that carry the kits reliably is small.

Every backpack line reads "very rare", so do not treat this as a supply depot for them. The way to get a large backpack here is to look in every time you pass, not to make the trip on purpose.

The real reason to come in

The shelves are only half of it. This shop also sells blueprints and maps, and neither is available at other bars.

Blueprints

The three tent blueprints let a squad throw up a temporary camp in the field, which matters most to a squad that has no base yet and is crossing regions.

Maps

Reading a map drops that region's locations straight onto your world map. For a squad heading south or east for the first time, these books save far more time than money.

Who is inside

The shop is run by a Waystation Barman, the named shopkeeper of the Tech Hunters and Anti-Slavers. He wears Shoddy armour and always carries a Catun Scrapmaster weapon. Despite the name, Waystation Barmen are not limited to Waystations.

There is also a Drifter on the premises and 6 to 8 Ninja Guards listed as housemates. The guards are not decoration — they join in when the bar gets wrecked.

TipBar squads spawn recruitable characters, and the Adventurer Bar is no exception. Glancing at who is sitting inside when you pass is worth more than a dedicated trip.
