Why he is out here
The wiki's reason and his own line do not quite match, and both are worth writing down:
- The wiki's version: he was expelled by his "master" for taking food back from thieves.
- His version: the master told him to lay down his sword, and he considers that a waste of him.
Either way the outcome is the same — he left his post, and now stands in a bar waiting to be hired.
Is he worth 7,500?
He spawns carrying nothing — no weapon, no inventory, just a pair of ragged Halfpants. His armour is Shoddy grade (5% chance of Standard) and his weapon manufacturer entry is Ancient.
His personality is Brave, and once recruited he runs the "Player TOUGH Merc" dialogue package.
Where to meet him
He has a chance of spawning in any town controlled by the United Cities, including while that town is "malnourished". The Slave Markets are one location the wiki singles out — the same place can also produce Ray, Wall Man and other randomly named recruits.
