Broken Model 30Report
English:Broken Model 30 · Characters
Ancient Ruins skeletons occupying the Deadland Workshops. They guard one of the few reliable sources of Engineering Research in the game — and they man the double-barrel harpoon turrets on the walkways.
The Broken Model 30 is a member of the Ancient Ruins faction, a P4 Unit skeleton. It appears in exactly one kind of place: the Deadland Workshops out in the Deadlands.
"Broken" is not merely descriptive. They spawn with no apparel at all, carry a Fragment Axe, and hold a single Skeleton Repair Kit — a machine still executing a guard order from a thousand years ago, carrying its own spare parts.
What they guard
There are three Deadland Workshops in the region. Each is a large hangar-like structure: a walkway along either edge, one or two switchback ramps leading up, mounted crossbows with spotlights overlooking the floor, and containers along the walkways ranging from basic crates to high-level locked chests.
The prize here is Engineering Research.
The artifact numbers are substantial too: a gear artifact value of around 25,000 Cats and an item artifact value of around 10,000 Cats, meaning additional loot spawns on top of the fixed contents.
A practical distinction: an empty workshop holds 15 items and refreshes only every 2,499 hours, while a workshop garrisoned by Broken Model 30s holds 30 items and refreshes every 50 hours. The guarded ones are the ones worth the trip.
Where the danger is
Three layers stand between you and the crates:
- 1–10 Broken Model 30s, who operate two Double Barrel Harpoon Turrets — this is the genuinely lethal part of the location. Turret damage has nothing to do with their melee numbers.
- Possibly a Broken Skeleton guarding the centre of the site.
- Near-constant acid rain across the area, steadily eating human characters and their clothing.
The Broken Model 30's own combat stats are only 35, low by Deadlands standards. The difficulty is not individual strength but turrets plus terrain: narrow walkways, switchback ramps, and almost nowhere to break line of sight once you are being shot from above.
