Skeleton No-Head MkIIReport
English:Skeleton No-Head MkII · Races
A Skeleton subrace, known in game as Thralls. Having no head leaves them with a Vision Range of 1, the shortest in the game, and every head-injury debuff is applied permanently as though the head were at 0% health, so their Robotics sits at -45% forever. In exchange they get bonuses to Blunt, Heavy Weapons and Melee Attack — the only race in the game with two weapon-skill bonuses.
Skeleton No-Head MkII, called Thralls in game, is a subrace of Skeleton. There are no playable characters of this race, and most Thralls can no longer speak intelligibly.
I had to thrall them all! Traitors siding with the humans! Treason! — Mad Cat-Lon
The price of having no head
The missing head costs this race a great deal. Their Vision Range is 1, the shortest of any Skeleton. Worse, any debuff that comes from a head injury is applied as if the head were at 0% health — meaning their Robotics is permanently at -45%, and no amount of repair brings it back.
What they get in return are melee bonuses: Blunt Weapons, Heavy Weapons and Melee Attack. That last detail is unique in the game — this is the only race with two weapon-skill bonuses, when most races have none at all.
Where you meet them
Thralls are manufactured: Cat-Lon turned "traitor" Skeletons into them. What the player actually runs into are units such as the Legion Thrall and the related models among the Broken Skeletons — and the Thrall Masters take their name from the same practice.
