Rebirth ShopkeepReport

English:Rebirth Shopkeep · Characters

The keeper of the Holy Slave Processing building in Rebirth, where players can donate captured non-player characters for cash or Holy Nation reputation — but the trade runs one way, and none of the inmates are for sale.

If you judge another to be a heathen, bring them here. We will take care of them and rebirth them so that they can earn Okran's mercy for themselves. — the Rebirth Shopkeep

The Rebirth Shopkeep runs the Holy Slave Processing building in Rebirth. The Holy Nation sends criminals to this labour camp dug into the pit of a mountain for punishment and repentance, and he is the intake window at the head of that conveyor.

What you can sell him

Players can bring in characters they judge to be in need of punishment. What he accepts are non-player characters — Fishmen, Cannibals, bandits and the like.

The rate is a choice of two:

TipIf you are climbing Holy Nation relations this is a steady source of points; if what you are short of is cash, ask for the money. The same prisoner only pays out once, one way or the other.

You cannot buy anyone out

This is the sharpest difference between Rebirth and the Slave Traders. The traders run a business; Rebirth claims to run re-education and discipline, and so players cannot buy any of the inmates.

You cannot buy beings for your own selfish pursuits! A pure blood must take it upon himself never to take advantage of others, no matter what their misfortunes, no matter what their background!

The other route: pick the locks

Not being able to buy them does not mean you cannot take them. Inmates in Rebirth are held in cages and shackles, and the player can simply unlock them; whether they then follow you depends on that prisoner's personality.
