Holy Mine RuinReport

English:Holy Mine Ruin · Locations

Two abandoned mines on the fringes of Skinner's Roam — no people, no guards, no traps. The loot is all construction-grade junk, but the site marks how far the Holy Nation's border once reached.

Holy Mine Ruins are ancient locations controlled by the Holy Nation — two of them, both on the fringes of Skinner's Roam.

They have no inhabitants at all: no guards, no slaves, no overseers. What you walk into is empty buildings and containers.

A border that was pulled back

The Holy Mine Ruins are not isolated. Nearby stand two similar sites: a Tiny Settlement and a Ruined Holy Outpost.

Together those three points are evidence of one thing: Holy Nation territory once extended into the Border Zone and Skinner's Roam, and then withdrew.

What Skinner's Roam looks like today says the same. The Holy Nation pushed its mines all the way to the edge of the Deadlands, and after the sand walls swept through it kept those dead mines on its books — while sending nobody to patrol them. Forty-strong Starving Bandit packs are a more common sight out on that rock desert than a prayer day.

Why you would come

Holy Mine Ruins are not where you get rich. They are where you break ground.

If you plan to build an outpost around Skinner's Roam or the Border Zone, these two ruins are two crates of free starting materials — no fighting, no stealing, no money. The 8 Tools in the southern ruins, at 240 Cats each, are the most valuable single line.

NoteThe ruins have no guards, but Skinner's Roam does. Forty-strong Starving Bandit packs are common out here, and you do not move fast with a backpack full of building materials.
