Hive Caravan Bosses lead Western Hive caravans around the world, looking to trade. Their stock typically consists of cheap skeleton limbs, materials and food.
Three caravans, three stock lists
The same character carries one of three different vendor lists, and which one you meet decides what you can buy:

Put another way: food and aid kits go survival > mats > crops; building materials go mats > survival > crops; farming raw material only comes from the crops caravan; and robot limbs only appear on the survival and mats lists.
Where to meet them
These are patrols, not fixed shops:
- The survival items caravan can spawn at Flats Lagoon, Heng, The Great Desert and Vain.
- The crops and mats caravans can spawn at Flats Lagoon and the Stenn Desert.
One precondition: all of these caravans depend on the Western Hive Queen still being alive. If she falls, they stop spawning.
Flats Lagoon, the only zone that gets all three
Flats Lagoon is the only zone in the game where all three types of Western Hive caravan spawn. Fandom takes this as an indication that a large share of the town's supplies is carried in by them — the zone spawns no camps and no nests, so almost everything sold locally has to be walked in from outside.
The man himself
He is a Hive Prince with combat stats 50, stealth 50, randomised by 5. He carries a Skeleton Smiths Wakizashi and wears Trader's Leathers, a Straw Hat and padded halfpants at Standard grade (10% upgrade chance).
His inventory holds a Lantern of Radiance and a Standard First Aid Kit — the lantern being the one thing a caravan on a night road actually needs.
