Old Village (Deadcat)Report
English:Old Village (Deadcat) · Locations
An emptied village on the Cannibal Plains that the game data still assigns to the Deadcat faction. It spawns no loot at all — the only reason this location exists is to prove Deadcat once had more than one town.
Old Village is a ruined location on the Cannibal Plains. In the game data it is still assigned to the Deadcat faction — even though nobody from Deadcat is left there.
What happened here
The most plausible reading is that it was a village attached to the former city of Deadcat.
Deadcat is a tiny survivor faction. They once had a city of their own; that city was taken by the Cannibal tribes, and the survivors became refugees, turning to fishing and scattering into villages along the Northern Coast and Dreg.
Old Village did not survive that fall. The wiki's account is that it was destroyed by the Cannibals long ago, its inhabitants either devoured or driven to the north or south.
It will not give you anything
The one thing to be clear about: Old Village spawns no loot.
No containers, no weapons, no materials. Walking there shows you empty buildings and nothing else.
Then why does the location exist
Because it is the only physical evidence that the Deadcat faction once had scale.
The Deadcat in the game today are a handful of fishing families. Their city still carries their name on the map while actually being the Cannibals' capital — and that label is deliberately left in place, to lure hunted players inside.
Old Village serves no such function. It just stands there quietly, proving this faction once held more than one town.
What it means for the player
Practical value — close to zero.
Its only role in play is as a landmark. The Cannibal Plains has no towns, only the Cannibal Capital, three Cannibal Villages, two Scout Posts, an Armoury Ruin and this Old Village. On a plain with no safe points, an empty ruin where nothing charges out has a use of its own.
