The Cannibal village at the far northern tip of Darkfinger, home of the Meat Lord. What sits at the centre of it is not a square but a ring of cages. It is the largest village in Darkfinger and the loot is poor — unless you came for the 30,000 bounty.
First Village is a secluded Cannibal village in the far north of the Darkfinger peninsula. It is the home of the Meat Lord, his lieutenants and a great many Cannibals.
What the village looks like
First Village is made of assorted metal shacks and tents arranged around a central collection of cages.
One shack houses the Meat Lord and several Cannibal Chiefs. They hold a static position; the rest of the village's population roams continuously around the centre.
It is the largest of the Darkfinger villages, and correspondingly dangerous — the middle of the village is permanently thick with Cannibals, and roaming squads use it as a base.
The Meat Lord
The Meat Lord is one of the Cannibals' leaders. He carries a Long Cleaver and a Basic First Aid Kit, wears no armour, and his weapon carries the Ancient manufacturer tag.
His combat skills are only average, but his Strength is very high. He is always accompanied by 2 to 3 Cannibal Chiefs.
His wanted poster reads:
WANTED: Cannibal Leaders 'Unknown' Thought to be some kind of regional sub-leader. Currently controls the cannibal origin territories of Darkfinger. Name not known. REWARD: 30,000 Cats
The Holy Nation, the United Cities and the Shek Kingdom all post that bounty simultaneously — not a common arrangement in this game.
Is it worth the trip
The wiki is blunt about it: unless you want the Meat Lord's bounty, there is not much reason to visit. For the danger it poses, First Village's loot is relatively poor.
Which is to say the value of this village is one head, not a stack of crates.
Where the name comes from
"First Village" may imply this was the original village of the Cannibals — the wanted poster's phrase "the cannibal origin territories" points the same way.
Some in-game dialogue contradicts that reading, however. The wiki files it as trivia rather than settled lore, and so does this site.
