Ashland Dome IVReport
English:Ashland Dome IV · Locations
The richest of the four Ashland Domes, with seven guaranteed AI Cores. Inside sits General Hat-12, chief of the Second Empire's police, with his Old Empire Police Captains — the men who crushed a rising heresy, still at their posts.
Ashland Dome IV is the southernmost of the four Ashland Domes in the Ashlands, and the richest of them by loot.
Layout and location
All four domes share the same structure: multi-floored, two entrances, one winding staircase up the middle. Ashland Dome IV lies south of Ashland Dome III.
A Map of the Ashlands will mark it — that map reveals one of five locations at random (the four domes plus Cat-Lon's Exile), at 20% each.
Who is here
The dome's occupant is General Hat-12, chief of the Second Empire's police force and a Skeleton P4MkII. He wears Masterwork Armoured Rags and an Armoured Rag Skirt, and carries a Meitou Heavy Jitte made by Cross.
Alongside him stand several Old Empire Police Captains — Skeleton Log-Head MkII models in [Specialist] armour (25% chance of [Masterwork]), with weapons by Skeleton Smiths or Edgewalkers.
His value is inside him:
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| CPU of General Hat-12 | 60,000 Cats |
| AI Core | 25,000 Cats |
One of four confessions
Each Ashland Dome houses a named survivor of the Second Empire, and each carries a unique CPU whose description is a single admission. Read side by side, the four amount to a post-mortem of the empire:
| Dome | Occupant | The failure on the CPU | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | Head of Agriculture | Could not have foreseen the famine, and blamed the collapse on himself anyway | 18,000 Cats |
| II | Rhinobot | Only wanted to help, and had no module for moral judgement | 30,000 Cats |
| III | General Jang | The longer the Hydraulic Knights fought, the more of their own they killed | 72,000 Cats |
| IV | General Hat-12 | Crushed a rising heresy so heavily that he fed the chaos instead | 60,000 Cats |
Famine, blind obedience, civil war and a security apparatus out of control — four failures side by side, not one of them caused by an outside enemy. Ashland Dome IV is the last of them.

What it means for the player
Ashland Dome IV is one of the highest single-site AI Core yields in the game. Seven guaranteed plus the one inside Hat-12 makes eight in one trip.
Tactically there is a clear opening: General Hat-12 has terrible Perception, almost no Dodge and single-digit Martial Arts. He holds a Meitou heavy weapon, so trading blows is a bad deal — but he will not notice a character approaching in stealth. For a stealth squad this dome is far easier than its payout suggests.
