Skeleton SurvivorReport
English:Skeleton Survivor · Characters
A randomly named skeleton recruit who always turns up in Shark for 2,500 Cats — and stays there no matter which gang currently runs the Swamp.
We do what we must to survive... But nowhere is this more apparent than the swamplands. Tread carefully, outlander, this is a town where the strong step on the weak to survive. If you need my protection, you can have it for 2500 Cats.
The Skeleton Survivor is a randomly named Unique Recruit, a Skeleton who claims to be able to "distinguish the underdogs from the survivors". He can be hired for 2,500 Cats.
Where to find him
In Shark — and he is there no matter which faction is in control of the Swamp. That matters more than it sounds in this region: ownership of the swamp shifts with the life and death of its gang bosses, and plenty of shops and characters change with it. He does not.
Is he worth it
The skill list is honest to the point of being blunt: Athletics 10, and Strength, Dexterity, Melee Attack, Melee Defence, every weapon class, Field Medic, Engineer and Labouring all sitting at 5, with Science at 0 and ±3 of randomisation. He is not a fighter; he is a slot.
The real value is racial. Skeletons do not eat. They run on repair kits instead. For an early-to-mid squad still juggling food and income, 2,500 Cats for a squad member who will never go hungry and can be trained up over time is a good deal.
He carries a Nodachi and a Skeleton Repair Kit, and uses the "Player SKELETON" dialogue package once recruited.
