The Ruined Control Tower is a ruin in Venge, sitting west of the Old Control Tower and east of the Tower of Abuse.
It contains no loot and no enemies. The wiki's verdict is blunt: this tower exists only as a landmark.
Why a landmark deserves an article
Because it is in Venge.
The moment the sun comes up, the sky starts killing things here — a satellite still in orbit, still executing a firing order nobody has issued for a thousand years. On the ground, headless thralls released from the Tower of Abuse wander in groups.
In a place like that, "where am I right now" is a survival question. Venge's three towers sit in a line: from west to east, the Tower of Abuse, the Ruined Control Tower, and the Old Control Tower. Spot the ruined one and you know you are in the middle of the valley, and which way the Tower of Abuse lies.
What it originally was
The name says it: a control tower. It belongs to the same building family as the Old Control Tower, and to the "Ancient Ruins" faction — meaning no living power has claimed it.
The difference is that the Old Control Tower still has things in it (guaranteed Ancient Science Books plus two ancient maps), while the Ruined Control Tower has been stripped down to the structure.
What it means for the player
You do not need to go in. Seeing it is enough.
The two towers on either side are the ones worth the trip — the Old Control Tower for paper, the Tower of Abuse for a full set of high-tier weapons and AI Cores. The Ruined Control Tower's value is telling you, on the way to either, that you have not lost the plot.
