Hemp-Based Fabric is Crafting Tech which unlocks a Fabric Loom that converts Hemp into Fabrics. This technology is not required for Fabric Manufacture, which unlocks the Cotton version of this building.
Players planning on making hemp-based fabrics should construct their base in a Swamp Environment or invest in Hydroponic Hemp farming technology.
While hemp is faster at generating fabrics, hemp is also an illegal item in many factions. Players should be aware of that before constructing a hemp farm in territory controlled by the United Cities.
